A timeless story about family, hope & regeneration.
A choreography commission for a mid-scale touring outdoor show by Beautiful Creatures, first premiered as part of the Caversham Festival to audiences of over 2,000 people.
Centred around an ancient ceremonial site, ‘The Fortress’ depicts a community fighting against the threat of destruction and learning the power of solidarity.
Five exceptional performers merge dance theatre, acrobatics and musical performance to an electronic orchestral score in this fast-paced and compelling story.

We’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with Beautiful Creatures on a number of their community engagement projects.
For The Fortress we worked as part of their creative team commissioned to develop the movement material for their exciting outdoor live performance piece.
